Here comes the Mugler!

Efendim bilenler bilir,Thierry Mugler herkesin moda anlayışına hitap eden bir marka değil.Tıpki Victor&Rolf gibi,sanatsal moda anlayışını benimseyip giyilebilir kavramının biraz ötesine geçiyor çoğu zaman.Tasarımlarını çoğunlukla Lady Gaga'nın üzerinde görmemizden de anlayabiliriz bunu:)
Ama şimdi,Mugler'ın erkek koleksiyonunun yeni tasarımcısı Nicola Formichetti,bu ay elime geçen GQ Style'da dediği gibi,elitize moda anlayışına karşı antipatisini Mugler'ın marka yüzü için oldukça sıradışı bir isimle çalışarak tüketicilerine ilan ediyor.Bahsi geçen isim,Rick Genest.
Kendisi Kanadalı,25 yaşında ve vücudunun %80'i dövmeyle kaplı.Bütün vücudunu saran iskelet şeklindeki dövmesi 100 kadar böcek dövmesiyle iç içe,göğsünün tam ortasında tehlike -sanırım radyoaktif tehlike- işareti var ve tam altında kocaman bir R.I.P. yazısı.Bunlar benim seçebildiklerim.Tabii yüzündekileri ve kafatasındaki beyin dövmesinden bahsetmiyorum bile!Hayali ise,sirklerdeki şovlara katılmak,hatta belki Coney Adası'nda çalışmak. People who are in to fashion know,Thierry Mugler is not a brand that you usually dress in normal life.Just like Victor and Rolf -remember the wedding dress they designed in one of their collections this year- they design clothes mixed with art.Their inspiration source is Lady Gaga,you know what i'm talking about fellas:)

But this time;Nicola Formichetti,new designer of Mugler Men Collection has showed his hatred to the elitized fashion in GQ Style that i've just looked at.He adversited his collection with,Rick Genest.One of the most interesting models.Ever.
He's canadian,25 years old and %80 of his body is covered with tatoo.There's a skeleton all over his body,100 bugs everywhere,a hazard sign at the middle of his chest and a R.I.P  under of it.These are the big ones,i'm not even talking about the tatoo that he has in his head and his face!His dream is to work at a circus,or maybe work in Coney Island.He's the one who played in Lady Gaga's,born this way video,and he's the new face of Mugler Men Collection.I'm sharing the photo of him and Formichetti together,for the rest of them,here we go, beammeupscotty!
